Detail Profile of Mr Kiru
Mr. Kiru did his undergraduate and postgraduate degree from University Malaya
and National University of Malaysia in Applied Mathematics and Information Technology
respectively.
He started his teaching career in 1991 during his STPM school holidays,
teaching Additional Mathematics for Form 4 and Form 5 students of Perak Methodist
Girls School. Upon starting his degree at University Malaya in 1991, Mr Kiru continued
teaching Additional Mathematics and Mathematics at tuition centres and social movements.
He continued being an academician and moved on into his career pathway as a Lecturer
and Deputy Dean for the School of Computer Sciences in private higher learning institutions.
Besides being an academician, Mr Kiru enhanced his skill sets in the IT world and
has spearheaded multiple IT projects for companies as Project Manager and Chief
Technical Officer. Having spent 16 years in the educational environment,
Mr. Kiru
felt that the education system both at the school and tertiary level has to move
to the next paradigm.
He and Mr. Umaas started addmaths.net to help and guide SPM
students to excel in Additional Mathematics. His strength to deliver the subject
in a simple manner with exam orientation, had guided many students to score A1 in
the subject.
Mr. Kiru will definitely help the students to realize their vision in
achieving the challenges in answering the Additional Mathematics exam questions.
